There are great beachs all over , my favs are La Jolla Cove and carlsbad, the is the scrippts aquarium in la jolla ( they have a small tide pool ) there is also shopping in la jolla and carlsbad ( the outlets are in calrsbad) there are also flower feilds and strawberry feilds in calsbad. Out of most harbors you can rent boats, kayaks, sea doos, and they offer short day trips there too..
