Get the Wii - It's very fun to play and everyone you know can play with you. All ages, it doesn't matter - a great system for get togethers. Then get the 360 when the price drops some more, which will be soon. Wait for PS3 to get all the bugs out and drop on price. You should definately get all 3, especially if you call yourself a gamer.

At $250, the Wii isn't affordable, even though it is nonetheless a good purchase whilst in comparison with the $599 psthree and the $399 Xbox 360 top rate gadget. and unlike Sony, that's barely making 4 hundred,000 PS3s available at launch, Nintendo says it is going to deliver 4 million Wii contraptions by applying December thirty first. So it is probably you will fairly be waiting to get one. even though it is likewise probably which you would be purely as waiting to get an Xbox 360 with its extra beneficial than one hundred available titles by applying 12 months's end. For now, basically one difficulty's for specific: till Sony provides us a compelling reason to purchase the PS3 previous it being an extremely low-value Blu-ray disc participant, the two of those different possibilities is a winner. base line, the main afforable, and smart would be 360. each and every of the bugs are labored out, and theres a lot of video games already out.

Either the 360 or Wii would be a good choice, but stay clear of the PS3. Wii and 360 have/will have the best games.

Well with 3 kids, I have them all and this is my break down of the pros and cons:

Wii - Very new and interesting.. for about a week. The ability to tilt the wii remotes and aim at the screen was really neat for the games that came with it. But the other "adult" games were seriously annoying with those capabilities. (For instance, call of duty 3). But the kids LOVE IT! They play it all the time and seem content just to play the games that came with it and the 'wii play' game which is another compilation of about 9 games they can play with the same premise as the original ones. Graphics aren't anything special, but what they lack in graphics they make up for in game-play.

PS3 - incredible graphics and there still isn't really a game out that can max out it's capabilities yet. It's mired right now with the accusations that it's not living up to it's hype.. but the real issue is that the xbox360 keeps porting it's games to the PS3.. so the graphics don't look any better unless you look at games made for the PS3 specifically (Like resistance: Fall of man). The game play is awesome at the higher frames per second and the blue-ray player blows my socks off with the resolution.. the draw-backs are price, the fact that you have to have a HD TV in order to take advantage of the true benefits of having one.. and the game selection. But if you're hard-core.. this is DEFINITELY the way to go.

Xbox360 - your typical game console. Not an incredible jump from it's predecessor the XBOX. But it does tout online capabilities that the XBOX didn't have. Graphics are very good compared to the WII and there are a plethora of game titles to choose from compared to the newer PS3. Again, nothing spectacular, but a definite time-filler while you wait for the PS3 to drop in price :)

All in all, if you have a HD TV, patience to wait for games and aren't buying into the kiddie-hype about the online gaming chatrooms for the XBOX360 (spare me!) I would definitely lean more toward the adult gaming system.. which is the PS3.

Or you can get a XBOX360.. which is a great machine. Just doesn't have the specs nor the capabilities of the PS3. But careful because the kiddies are looking to 'pwn' you online... Hopefully PS3 makes good on it's claim for age filters online.

Well, I think the PS3 is way cooler, what with all the features. But that probably because I have a PS2. But I will definitely recommend the X-box 360. The games are also cheaper in X-box, and there is also way more games to choose from in X-box. Well, that's my opinion, but lets see what others say.

It depends on what intrests you.
If you want a truely innovative gaming experience, go for Wii.
If you want a great stream of decent titles, and great online go for the 360.
And aside from a few games (most wll be also available on the 360), there isn't much of a reason for the PS3.

if you want something for groups of people or kids get the wii
if you want a hardcore gamer system/hd gaming and movies get the ps3.
if you want to send your system in for repairs every other week get the 360

The Nintend Wii is way more fun and not ridiculously priced. The other two suck.
