Listen.... the Xbox 360 is a better system. It's a fact. It has better games and it has the ONLY on-line gaming community worthy of mention.

the PS3 and X-box 360 are pretty much the same the only thing working for the X-box is the amount of games released right now, but wait a year or 2 and you'll see that true games will be made for the PS3.

Also on some games that are released they take out some of the levels, weapons, upgrades, and other stuff for the 360.

Another thing is that the PS3 can help cure cancer with its Folding@Home program.(Get PSM {Playstation Magazine} to read more) and the reason the 360 dosent have that program is because its proccesor is to slow to send and recieve the information fast enough.

So in the long run the PS3 is better.

360 also has HDMI and a 120 gig harddrive.. its called the elite.. and to be honest.. it has so many more games than Playstation.. just browse both libraries and you will see it has more exclusive titles than the ps3 and also has many of the same titles as the ps3.. (most titles that are dual console will have almost identical graphics) and when you are playing on an HD tv the graphics will blow you away on either system.. the ps3 is overpriced and breaks just as easy as the xbox.. consoles always have issues early in release.. because the xbox has been out longer the bugs have had more time to be worked out.. also by most game developers the xbox has been stated to be the conslole they enjoy working with the most, for many reasons... One game making company, (Valve) went as far as to say that the PS3 was an utter failure and needed to be pulled and also stated that Sony should start over and apologize for the crappy system..

What is XBOX 360?? only the best gaming console out right now!

You're comparing two very similar systems.. knowing why you're asking can help us answer it in a way that'll help you.

If you're thinking about buying one. I'd ask myself if the processing power is something you're interested in? Or the ability to play Blue-ray movies? Maybe support for games? Or how about selection of games?

Not knowing these answers, I'll try to help you out a bit with all of it.

The PS-3 is truly the 'next gen' gaming system. It has all the bells and whistles the xbox360 has, but also has a blue-ray player (better quality than a regular DVD, but also more expensive), comes standard with all the extras the xbox 360 has.. and has comparable processors. But... costs more also.

The Xbox360 has many more games available for it right now. But the days of single-port games are pretty much over. ALmost all exclusivity is limited to system manufacturer released titles only. (I.E. a game made and license by microsoft can be expected to be a single-port to xbox360 since Microsoft owns it.. but any other developer will probably release to both systems now.. the same can be said for Sony).

SO which is the better system for you?

I have both... and I can tell you I'm very impressed with the PS3 and it's TRUE HD-quality graphics vs. the xbox360's ability to only stream through RGB connectors vs. actually being HD. But the game-base just isn't there yet and as I've stated it's much more expensive right now.

If I had it all to do over again, I wouldn't have bought the Xbox360.. all the same titles will be available to the PS3 with, in most cases, better graphics.

Don't listen to folks saying things are 'fact' or 'obviously' one way or the other. Make your own mind up and don't forget.. most game systems only give a hint of their true capability on their inception. It's only after they've been on the market for awhile that their true capabilities are tested and used (I.E. look at God of war for the PS2 vs. the games that shipped with it)

As far as online goes.. the PS3 just started.. judging it's online capabilities is follow considering there aren't a whole lot of games out there that really tax it... Most of the games out for PS3 are multiports from Xbox360 games that don't even really max it out.

Xbox360, regular or elite is better than PS3. Graphics are just as good, and more exclusive titles. Why would you spend more for a console that has less games?

I would say an xbox 360 because I have always been a fan of xbox. The graphics are the best man.

Value-wise, your're going to get more bang for your buck with the 360. You'll get a very similar system and compared to the PS3, you'll have money left to buy several games.

Don't make your choice based only on the system. Look at the game libraries and use that to make your choice. Graphics and hardware aren't different enough to justify the purchase alone.
