It is sad but he technically did not commit incest since Whitney is not his sister. They thought he was but they weren't. This was why they had been able to get married.

While it was revealed that Chad didn't technically commit incest with Whitney, it was still somewhat unnerving that he chose to pursue her when he still thought she was his sister. And what's disgusting about the storyline right now isn't so much that Chad is gay, but that he insists he isn't and is in love with Whitney, while cheating on her with a man. And he keeps going back for more. He is a pretty disgusting character overall. Handsome though.

There was no incest. It was revealed that he is not actually Julian and Eve's son, and in fact Eve told Whitney just the other day that she thinks she's very close to finding the man who is her son with Julian.
As for the gay issue, I think it would be a more solid storyline if he was just gay. I think soap operas need to broaden their perspectives and the lifestyle stories they tell. It's always about upper middle class, mostly white, families who are so wealthy they have private jets and don't need to work, and are in complicated but heterosexual "traditional" relationships. It's boring.
Chad is still confused in a way because he's in love with Whitney, and he's married to her, but he has obvious physical feelings for Vincent. I think they should explore the emotional side of the affair more, rather than just keep it to Vincent's kind of a jerk and he's kind of blackmailing Chad: they need to show Chad really struggling with his actions. He's supposedly going to come clean to Ethan, so maybe a man-to-man heart-to-heart is coming up.

im more disgusted the lack of talent from these actors and the fact that i STILL cant take my eyes off of this show lol......
anyhow, chad claims that he isnt gay....(yeah, right) if vincent is actually eves son with julian, wouldnt that make him part of the family???? theres more incest for ya....im so over it
i wish the storyline would pick and actually GET SOMEWHERE!! i feel like im watching the same episode every single day!! it gets so old.

yes I am.The story line on Passions has really gone downhill lately.I guess since the show is ending this summer,they must have some really bad writers left.
