anyone know which colon cleaning systems really work?

i paid $40.00 for one a gnc and found it to be very dissappointing.

Colon cleansing is a fad based largely on pseudoscience. Unlike the pictures and diagrams on the TV infomercials, food and waste products to not adhere to the wall of the colon as if it were a drain pipe.

Conversely, many Americans eat an unhealthy, low-residue diet with a tendency to accumulate large amounts of stool in the colon. A stool softener, perhaps an occasional laxative and especially an improved diet with more fiber is the treatment. Try prune juice.
