Do you realise that it's illegal and even worse it's dangerous.
Think about it, you are logged on to their network which means they can access your computer. If the person you are logged on to is not particularly computer literate you are OK. But should he or she be a bit technically adept they could quite easily get any personal details off your computer. Be careful you can easily get more than you bargain for.

cheeky beggar
you cannot boost the signal, but you can improve the signal reception at your end by one of several things

get a better aeriel
position the aeriel in the most favourable place (ideally in direct line of sight, away from anything metal, going through as few solid structures (walls etc) as possible
you could put a repeater or gateway closer to the source signal and use that to relay a boosted signal

Make sure your router is not too close to any other electrical source that could be draining the signal, its no use changing the aerial that would make no difference to the signal strength, most of the new routers on the market do have a signal booster built in but i have not seen one supplied individually. ken_t

You could puchase a repeater or an external antenna that may boost the signal.

It is typically done at the source. But if you can get to the source you are all set.

Find out what side of your apartment they are closest to and surf there!

or get an aerial extension and get it as close to the source as you can get.

You either need a BIGGER antenna, or you get their MAC and create a repeater.
