Gray, Red and there are also white squirrels, gray squirrels can have alot of brown on them, but are still considered gray.

there are gray squirrels which are actually more of a light pepper and salt... color..
gray squirrels also have whats called a black phase... and they are all black..
and a white phase... all white. ( but not albino)
then there are the albino ones..
there are fox squirrels ( some call red squirrels) but they arent really red.. more of an orangish .. rust.. color..
there are red squirrels... which are the smallest and they have a white belly.. similar to the gray squirrels.

There are at least 2 kinds of squirrels in the US. I know of red squirrels and grey squirrels.

Grey squirrels are usually more of a brownish color, but are called grey. There are brown squirrels too.

You will probably see Brown, Black, Red & Gray. The red ones are extremely mean, and they all carry rabbies. They love bird seed, so be carefull oh and pet food, too!

I ve seen brown, red and grey ones
Ones in asia are generally grey.
In cold countries and woodlands they are brown
