1. The Rockin' Roller Coaster is not too big of a step up. My kids both rode it in April when we were there, with my daughter (11 yrs old) in the front seat with her grandfather. It starts out fast (0 to 60 in only a couple of seconds) however if you like rock music at all, it is a great ride. My favorite roller coaster in all of Disney. It is really fun and not a bad ride.

2. The world pavilions are really cool. Each country has people native to the country working in the pavilion. Each country also has authentic cuisine from that country as well as some of the souvineirs you would find from that country. Don't miss the American Adventure in the USA and the Maelstrom in Norway. Also, eating in Germany was outstanding.

3. Of the deluxe hotels I recommend 2 of them. First choice is the Polynesian. I think this is by far the most beautiful resort Disney has, bar none. When you walk into the lobby it is almost as if you have been transported to some tropical island paradise. There are parrots and other tropical birds flying around (I think many are caged now) and a waterfall in the lobby. The rooms are huge, and the service second to none. A very close second is Saratoga Springs. This is a Disney Vacation Club resort, but for those not in the DVC it is considered a deluxe resort. We stayed here in April and loved it. Every room has either a kitchenette or a full kitchen depending on the size room. This is a home away from home resort, so each room is like a 1, 2, or 3 bedroom condo. The resort is huge, so even at full capacity it did not seem like there was a ton of people there. Downtown Disney is a short walk.

4. The best rides in my opinion (and my kids) are listed below by park. The best thing for you to do is go to www.waltdisneyworld.com and check each one out for yourself, then make a list of the ones you want to hit for sure.

Magic Kingdom - Big Thunder Mtn. Railroad, Splash Mtn., Space Mtn., Buzz Lightyear's space ranger spin, Hall of Presidents, The Haunted Mansion, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monster's Inc. Laugh factory, Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World. (Wishes night time spectacular fireworks show and Spectromagic night time parade are must sees.)

EPCOT - Soarin' (in The Land pavillion), The Living Seas starring Nemo and friends (also has Turtle Talk with Crush), Test Track, Honey I shrunk the audience, American Adventure, Maelstrom, Journey into Imagination, Innoventions, Spaceship Earth. (Night time show Illuminations is also a must see.)

MGM - Rock 'N' Roller coaster, The Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones Stunt Show, Extreme Stunt Show, Backlot tour. (Fantasmic, the night time show is a must see also!)

Animal Kingdom - Expedition Everest, Kilamanjaro Safari, Maharaja's Jungle Trek, Dinosaur, It's Tough to be a bug.

I would not recommend Mission Space for one reason. Even on the less intense experience I saw people getting off the ride and getting sick. I think that is a very tough ride, and we usually skip it.

As for the car, we like to play the alphabet game using billboards. Each person has to get from A-Z using only the words they see on the billboards (first letters only.) We also played a game counting the animals. Players on each side of the car counted animals and kept track. If you pass a cemetery, you go back to 0. After 3 total cemeteries are passed, the game is over (we acutally just used to set a time limit.) Concentration is also fun, but more fun when you can get the whole car involved. First, pick a topic (Movies for example). One person starts, then you have to go around the car and just spit out the name of a movie. You only have 3 second, and each name can only be used once. A different version of that is the name game. Same concept, 10 second time limit. One person gives the name of a famous person ( you can set the rules before the game to either count cartoon characters or movie characters' names or not.) After the first name is given, the next person has to come up with someone who's first name starts with the first letter of the last name just mentioned. (Ex. Tom Hanks, next person has to start with H. Harry Potter. next, Paul Newman, Nicholas Cage, Carl Everett, and so on.) Names that have double letters or one word names reverse the circle.

Hope that helps. Have a great trip.

1. Did you know that Space Mountain actually is a couple miles per hour SLOWER than Big Thunder Mountain? It doesn't seem like that because the illusion of speed is intensified with the projections, but you can handle Space Mountain, and the Rockin Roller Coaster is cool. It's a little unnerving because it goes from zero to sixty in nothing flat, but it's a fun ride.

2. Depends on what you mean by "fun". The American Adventure is one of my all-time favorite pavilions at Epcot. It *is* educational, but it is also enjoyable, and therefore, to me, that's fun. I also really like eating at the teppanyaki restaurant at Japan, where they cook the food right there at your table. And the ride in Norway is kinda fun, too. :)

3. Deluxe hotel? Either the Grand Floridian (the flagship Deluxe hotel) or the Animal Kingdom lodge. In the latter, you can wake up and see a giraffe outside your window. How many other places let you do that?

4. Mission:Space is a lot of fun. Follow their directions and you'll be fine. While you're riding, don't look to either side. Keep your head focused straight ahead. If you go on the "wimpy" version of it, it's not even worth standing in line for it. Do the full version.

1.) Okay as far as Rockin Rollercoaster. If you don't think you would enjoy inversions or corkscrew maneuvers don't do it. This is the first Disney coaster to feature either of those and since the other two mentioned are just striaghtforward fast coaster rides, I dunno if I would suggest it. Try Space Mountain for the dark coaster experience first. Remember also that your body will be under a lot of G Force Pressure from the turns and upside downs. I used to help test it at night. Alot of the items in my pockets (coins, phones, my cast I.D.) would never budge on the inversions.

2.) The world pavilions can be loads of fun. The Biergarten in Germany is a great bit of entertainment. Alot of it is shopping and artisans and musicians, actors and jugglers. It seems alot like a giant open air market. At night especially it will be great fun! If you like to shop go to the Pavillions.

3.) Deluxe hotels that are close and I mean uber close to the magic would be Polynesian (my fav) Grand Floridian, or the Contemporary. They are right on the Monorail track and are speedy at getting you into Magic Kingdom, the TTC and therefore Epcot. Another one that has alot to offer in my opinion is the Disney Boardwalk or Yach and Beach, they are within walking distance of Epcot and have a ton of activity in their own realms!

4.) The best rides? This is open for interp my dear! You have classic Disney-ana rides (those that Walt personally developed and oversaw) like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, It's A Small World, The Jungle Cruise. Then you have the new breed: Stitch's Great Escape, Splash Mountain, BUzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Tower of Terror, Test Track etc. It really depends on personal taste. If you have been going there since childhood (like me) I would touch back with some of your old faves, Disney does touch up. If you are a Captain Jack fan, deff check out Pirates of the Caribbean. But, get some new flavor on your pallette and go where the winds blow! Really are there bad attractions in Disney, yes and no. It all depends on what you like. Take a look, you are here to experience not jam everything into your days as much as possible (that's why it is called a vacation!) and if you don't get a chance to see it all. Come back later, trust me the place will still be here (provided the wild fires don't move further south!)

As for Mission Space they have two versions. There were some folks gettin sick from the amount of force applied. So they made an alternate version without so much force on the body. If you get motion sickness etc I would take the latter; that way you can at least experience the ride.

BE SURE TO CHECK OUT FANTASMIC AT MGM! That was my show and it is without a doubt one of the best shows in the parks hands down!

For teenagers in the car. I was a bookworm so books. But also since you have more technology than I did, check out asking your parents to split the bill on a portable DVD. They are fairly inexpensive now $100 or so. If you babysit or do some chores you may be able to help foot the bill for your entertainment. That way you can watch your movies, read your books, etc. Also a game we used to play was pick out the cheesiest tourism billboards! Make sure you get pictures!

Have Fun in the World!

Alot of Questions. I will try to help I have been to Disney World 8 Times. 3 times in the past 3 years. Start with Mission Space because it is the one I feel the strongest about. I love Coasters but hate rides that go round and round. If you have a week stomach DO NOT RIDE THIS RIDE !! The Rockin Roller Coaster is only bad for the first 5 seconds because of the take off, then its just seeing a bunch of signs and loud music in a dark room. As for the car If you dont have a DVD player to watch movies. Cards are fun, we play a game called Pee Nuckle using Three types of cars as targets Vw Beetles are 1 point, Pt Cruisers and HHr's are 1 point, and taxi cabs are 3 points. And then we added last year that if you see an old VW bug its 5 points. I hope I helped. God Bless you on your trip. P.S. Get a turkey leg, and dont miss the Show's. MGM the Fantasmic, Animal Kingdom Lion King and Epcots Laser Light show .

1. Rockin roller coaster is alot more "big" than thunder mountain but it is still quite tame. It starts from a stand still and gets fast really quickly which is fun. It then shakes you about loads so can give you abit of a headache (specially with areosmith blaring out the headrests!!!) It does go upside down but is really fun! My 9 year old sister goes on it so you should be fine!!

2. The world pavillions are fun but maybe not so much for a 13yr old. there are lots of different things to do in each "land" though and its cool seeing all the different types of buildings and shops selling all things that are typical of that country! My sister enjoys it because you can make masks along the way and my parents enjoy it because they drink different drinks at each land!!! If the food & wine festival is on, go to that and try all the different foods! (best way to enjoy it is not to eat a meal, but try different foods along the way!)

3. The hotel I like is Broadwalk in Disney as it is close to Epcot and feels like you are in a small village around the lake! The rooms are pretty similar however in all the disney hotels.

4. Mission:space made me feel sick & I got all panicky because I get really clustrophobic but my brother loved it!! I LOVE Tower of Terror! there is a really good build up to it and its really unpredictable and changes everytime I go! Also, the dinosaur ride at animal kingdom! Its really scary!!! Splash Mountain is a classic along with Buzz lightyear (!) in Magic Kingdom! At Epcot, Honey I Shrunk the Audience is fun, and so is Test Trak & Soarin!

As for passing the time in a car, there are loads of games you can play! Silly games like I Spy and stuff! I used to always play the car colour game. Each person picks a car color and then you count every 1 that you see. You set a limit of say 25, and whoever gets there 1st wins! We also play an alphabet game where each person has to say a name or something along to the alphabet, for example, person 1 would say Allison, person 2 would say Betty, person 1 would say Catherine etc. Or use the last letters of the name like, person1 would say allison, 2 would say nicole, 1 would say elaine etc. you can do this with states or countrys or anything! Or take a portable dvd player!!

I hope you have a great time!!!!!!

1. I think it's entirely up to you. The Rockin' Rollercoaster is rough so don't eat before you ride..
2. The World Pavilions are great now. There's a ride (I forget at which pavilion) called Soarin'. Scared me but I'm afraid of heights. My teenage son loved it. Test track was fun. There are some calmer rides like the slow moving ride in Mexico and the Maelstrom in Norway. Epcot will keep you the busiest of all the parks.
3. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved it. You can see animals like giraffes and spring boks from your room or from one of the many overlooks onto the property. Has a beautiful pool and I think a slide. The staff was friendly and there's so much to look at there!
4. Mission Space, I forgot about that. Yes, that was fun. I went on the milder one and it was plenty for me. You're a teen so I'd suggest you do the more intense one!

Lastly, bring your ipod. See how many different state plates you can see. Count the live and dead animals you see on the side of the road (hey it keeps you busy). You can read but for some people it'll give them a headache or make them nauseaus. Have fun!

Rock N Roller Coaster (at the Disney Studios) is inside, in the dark mainly. So you might want to try Space Mountain (at Magic Kingdom) first. It is tamer, but because it is also indoors, it is a similar feeling. I think that generally, coasters in the dark are easier for people to start.

The world pavilions at Epcot are very fun! You have to approach them a little differently, though. They aren't going to be thrill ride after thrill ride. They are a slower pace. You have to explore them to really enjoy them. There's lots of "hidden" areas. And it gives you a little taste of lots of different cultures.

I have never stayed in a deluxe hotel. But visit www.allearsnet.com for reviews and photos.

I don't like Mission: Space. It doesn't make me sick or anything, I just don't see what the big deal is. My favorites at the Magic Kingdom are Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean. At Epcot I like Test Track best. I haven't done Soarin' yet, but it should be awesome. At the Studios I like Rock N Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, and I still love the Muppets 3-D. At Animal Kingdom, I haven't ridden Expedition Everest yet, but I'm sure when I do it will be my new favorite! But you have to ride the Safari ride to see all the animals.
