You can get that manual online except it's not working right now. The link is http://www.deere.com/en_US/homeowners/services_support/manuals_lowes_home_depot_products.html

I reported the error to JD but who knows how long that might take to fix.

I left John Deere before the L110 was made so I can't give you the exact process. Some of these were very complex to replace and others weren't so bad. You may be better off having the dealer replace it.

Most mowers have a diagram for the belts somewhere on the tractor. Might be under the foot rest. The mower deck will probably have to come off to get to it but it should be straight forward. Watch how you remove the old belt and make sure to put the new one on the same way. A good dealer would provide you with a copy of the diagram.
