I can just see the CEOs of all the oil and gas companies sitting in their nice cushy offices laughing at this whole "boycott" idea. One day without filling up is not a boycott and will not send a message to anyone. If you think the companies are going to get some kind of message from this, you're pretty naive.

Going to would desire to consider Mr. Taco. that's going to purely double the traces on the 14th & sixteenth. they're going to use that surge on those days as an excuse to develop expenditures even added. because of the fact we are no longer ingesting much less, we are able to purely substitute whilst we devour. the secret's conservation. Take the bus some cases a week. journey a bike. Carpool. Dont run your a/c continuously, roll down the window. which will shrink the will for extra gasoline, & that's what drops the cost. that's the regulation of furnish & call for: the better the call for, the better the cost because of the fact there's a shortage of furnish & they'd desire to artwork extra stable to get extra to fulfill the call for. The decrease call for, the decrease the cost because of the fact there's a buildup of furnish & they dont would desire to artwork as stressful to get the source. An occasion: while you're promoting some thing & you sell 500 instruments a week, will you drop the cost in case you nonetheless sell 500 a week besides the shown fact that it unfolded in yet in any different case? such as you sell one hundred in line with day, & you dont sell any on a million day yet 2 days you have a 50% develop of sales? yet whilst human beings slowed the paying for all around & you unexpectedly purely sell 450/wk, then 4 hundred, then 325. at last, you may decrease the cost, considering which you have a stockpile of it.

Everyone filled up yesterday or will fill up tomorrow. The gas companies are sitting somewhere laughing because all the warnings of no gas today actually probably helped boost sales yesterday. The same amount of gas will be bought and used regardless of who buys and uses it. Cab companies and Bus drivers have to fill up their tanks to drive people around. Police officers will have to fill up today at some point.

You guys are all idiots.

It's a ridicules idea....most people who are participating either filled up yesterday and will get gas tomorrow.
Prices will rise whether or not people buy gas.
The prices will rise because of low supply and high demand.
The prices could also rise to maintain their profitability if there is a low demand.

It won't make any difference if we don't. The big companies won't suffer in the least. I'm not buying gas because I don't have to but if I needed it, I would.

What message? Don't you think oil companies know they HAVE you. Protest all you want. This won't make a difference.

If yuo really want to make a difference, there is a better way.
