And to the poster above me, he's not griping about the Bill of Rights.
He's making a symbolic gesture to show his disgust at how the Republicans have trampled all over those rights.

Why would you want to do that?? Do you realize that this document gives you the right to protest and burn it?
Burning this document just shows you are a traitor. I don't agree with Bush and what some of the Republicans are doing right now and I totally do not agree with the Libs. I would plan something more constructive than burning MY Bill Of Rights.

Have you ever read the bill of rights? Whats your gripe about them.
Bill of rights brief review
1. Freedom of speach, press, and assembly. (by burning the bill at your protest. Your saying you want want the right to protest)
2. Regulated Milita
3. No soldier can come in and take over your house in time of peace or a time of war. (I guess you want the military to take over your home when they please)
4. Right against an illegal search or seizure of your person or proterty. (so you want to be searched by the police at any time for no reason at all)
5. You want to be held for a crime where they have no proof you commited that crime, or you want to be tried for the same crime 100+ times
6. Want to give up your right to a speedy trial, and your right to confront your accusers
7. Right to a jury trial when robbed of $20 or more
8. No excessive bail or fines impossed. Nor subject to curel and unusual punishment
9. The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people
10. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
So basicly you want to burn the document that gives you your basic rights as an america,
