There has been plenty of outrage. We live in country who does not legislate the country. The elected officials have done plenty over the years to make things worse. In the last 70"s they punished the oil companies and anyone who was benefitting from oil by passing the windfalls profit tax and then making it almost impossible to keep refineries open or build new ones due to ridiculous EPA rules. To top it off, they limit where we can drill for oil. I think they have done enough.

Where is the outrage? I guess you haven't been reading much today about the worthless gas boycott!
As far as our officials are concerned, let me ask you a question: have you written to your Congressman or Senator regarding the gas prices? If not, then you are part of the problem. Better click on the link below and look them up. Contacting them is actually quite easy, and if enough people threatened to not vote for them, they'd change their tune! Alas, I am afraid not enough people do this sort of thing, but we can start somewhere with ourselves. Good luck!

Because most probably have stock in oil. Why should they be outraged?? With the money they make through our tax dollars. They probably don't even pay for their gas. Most officals have limo for their use and our tax dollars pay for the gas and the limo. So why should they fuss. It's people like us who are pinching pennies just to buy enough gas to get to work so we can be taxed more, so they can give themselves raises. I still have a problem with when they and their spouses retire. They haven't even paid in to retirement and they will make the same amount they are making now. No wonder they can have several homes. Something should be done about that. But?? So you can bet your last $$ they aren't going to worry about a little thing like high gas prices.

Why should they be outraged? They don't tell you to drive. Where you live, work, study, date, hang out and play is entirely up to you.
THIS IS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA... IF YOU DONT LIKE GAS PRICES... CHANGE YOUR WAYS.

Government already does something about the high gas prices -- they charge ridiculous taxes on it, so now we pay lots more!

what do you suggest they do? Prices are driven by supply and demand, and liberals constanly block drilling for new sources
