how do i access more bandwidth on a GSM network. I've got a GPRS connection. how can i get more bandwidth.

any idea on how to increase the bandwidth.. i'm accessing the internet over my phone.. if its a hack it would be helpful.. any idea on how the protocol works.. would really like it to go faster.. :)

No way to do it, A GPRS bandwidth is maxed out already at the phone.

The short answer is, the bandwidth you get is heavily dependent on two things: a) how many other users are on the same cell tower and b) how strong a signal you are getting.

If you are on a busy cell or have a weak signal, you get less bandwidth. So, use the GPRS connection late at night and make sure you have a good strong signal.
