Slow Pentium D?

Question

I have a Pentium D 2.66GHz 480ram
but it is not that slow.. but slower than pentium 4!

Is pentium D is just slower than pentium 4? thats my experience..

Even if I do this!

Is pentium D just bit slower than pentium 4?

It is slow compared to a Pentium 4 w/ a higher clock speed when running single threaded applications. But when it comes to multi-threaded apps, the dual core will come out the winner.
