.....and yes, I'm asking it here!! lol.
Okay, my toddler just woke up and she has the BIGGEST lump on her forehead, right above her eye. She's trying to itch it, so I put some anti-itch stuff on it, but my question is....
Besides ice, is there anything I can put on it to take down the swelling?? This thing is huge. && it looks incredibly painful.
Your help is appreciated ahead of time.....thank you!!

No, it's not a spider bite. Upon further investigation of this lump, I noticed there are three bites right within this bite, but not clustered.

Mix some baking soda with a little water to form a paste and apply for 10 minutes, then remove.

You might try an ice compress.
In my experience, though (and I lived in Alaska, where the mosquitoes leave huge welts), the swelling generally subsides within 24 hours.
Are you sure it's a mosquito bite and not something else?

Do This For Itchy insect bites
Apply calamine lotion or a baking soda paste to the area of the bite (Make a paste of water and baking soda and put a dab of paste on your bites). You can also try Tea Tree Oil or rubbing raw garlic over the bite.

I read that you can apply some baking powder mixed with water to neutralize it, then hydrocortizone .05% for the itch. My son's legs have been attacked and they turned into blisters the next day. I tried this method and the wounds calmed down a bit.

No usually when they get them in that spot, they look much worse than they are. You can try some benadryl spray or even some benadryl medicine, it may help a little, but it probably won't do much. It'll be half the size tomorrow! Good Luck!
