Hi there. Most men wake up with a hard on . That is considered normal. It has nothing to do with urination though. He will lose the erection, urinate, and can have sex in the morning if he chooses to. I am 32 years old and for all of my life I always wake up in the morning with an erection. There is two reasons that this can happen
- Urge to pee
- Dreamed about sex
Most men do get an erection when they wake up in the morning. Your boyfriend could possibly be lying and he could also be telling the truth.

An early morning erection is not the result of a full bladder. A full bladder will produce an urge to go to the potty. An erection is a sign of an urge for sexual intercourse. You should take him up on the offer - it is a great way to start the day. If you are not ready then you should lovingly mastrubate him to help him get going in the morning.

The early morning erection is caused by pressure of the bladder against a nerve plexus. So yes, your boyfriend was telling you the truth. It is absolutely normal for a man to have several erections during the night--even if he can't get one while awake due to psychological problems.

Guys have multiple erections during the sleep cycle. (more information on the internet). A lot of guys wake up after an erection, but some wake up during one.

Morning Wood happens to any male in the morning. Its not sexual in any way. It just sorta happens after a good nights sleep. (Also Related to REM sleep if you really want to get technical). Hope this helps.

yeah sometimes men need to go to the restroom in the early morning hours and yes at times it is from having Morning Wood a condition of needing it when he wakes up in the morning from you.

I have a disorder called priapism this happens to me all the darn time at the mall, at work, church, swimming, its quite embarrassing, and there is no way of hiding it its like walking around with a third leg. Just give your bf a break....OK.
