I've had such a shitty time lately so things can only get better for me....got to look on the bright side, don't you think?

I know this is a bit of a shallow answer but without a doubt money.

If I had money, I could travel the world and do anything I wanted. I could go scuba diving on the great barrier reef, I could buy a yacht and travel the great oceans, I could go to Thailand and live like a king, I could give my money to people who need it, I could show my girlfriend a good time, I could learn how to snowboard and live in the mountains.

I resent people who say money is not important. How do you eat without money? How do you have a roof over your head? That nice refreshing pint of larger you enjoy after work, what provides that - money!

Even love and sex requires money - there are not many girls who would go out with a poor tramp now are there?

I don't like the fact that money is required to enjoy many aspects of your life but it is a fact that cannot be denied.

And I hate people who win nine million on the lottery but still "catch the bus" or carry on working at their local supermarket.

Give it to me then you ungrateful s%ds!

I must be one of those annoying people who is completely thrilled with their life. Sure there are things I'd like (like winning the lottery) and things that I don't like (annoying boss); overall though, life is great!
I love my job, I have a partner I adore, I'm in reasonable health, my folks are healthy and (mostly) alive, I love my sister (she has a brain tumour-but it's not malignant-silver linings), my nieces and nephew are sweet and well behaved.
I suspect that the old saying - life is what you make it - holds true. Being optimistic with a touch of realism keeps you focussed on the good stuff and helps gloss over the negative stuff.
Anyone can make you miserable, but only you can keep it that way
:o)

I've had an interesting life and it can be very tiring. Right now, I would like a period of reflection and re-assessment. I think that would lead to fulfillment.

A lot more travelling would be very interesting as I love meeting people from different countries and learning about their culture.
