if you meant ^4√ to be the 4th root

(^4√4)(^4√12)
= ^4√(4*12)
=^4√48
= ^4√(16*3)
= 2^4√3

I don't know why you have the carat in front of the 4s, it serves no purpose there.
(4√4)(4√12)
since the sq rt of 4 is 2, 4√4=8
(4√12)=(4√4√3) = 8√3
8x8√3=64√3

The square root of 4 = 4^1/2.
when raising on exponent by another, multiply.
(4^1/2)^4 = 4^(1/2*4) = 4^2 = 16

The square root of 12 = 12^1/2.
when raising on exponent by another, multiply.
(12^1/2)^4 = 12^(1/2*4) = 12^2 = 144
16*144=2304
