I Want To Save You - Something Corporate
Better Than Me - Hinder
Be Somebody - 3 Doors Down
Song To Say Goodbye - Placebo
Never Too Late - Three Days Grace (Generally most songs by Three Days Grace)
Any song on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack

Hope you feel better.

Just about any song off of Secondhand Serenade's album Awake, I'd suggest "Last Song Ever" or "Take Me With You"
Also The Ataris write a lot of songs like that:
Giving up on love
Bad Case Of Broken Heart
The Last song I'll ever write about a girl
I won't spend another night alone
Your boyfriend sucks
Song for a mix tape
Then there's American HI-FI:
The Breakup song

Sorry about your heartache. How about "My Heart Will Go On" -Celine Dion. "It's My Party & I'll Cry if I Want To" (from the 50s) byLesley Gore. The Beatles "Eleanor Rigby" is sad, though not specifically about breaking up. The Shangri-la's Leader of the Pack is also very sad(60's)
Hope these help and that you get over him soon.

the best song to listen to is "I Will Survive" by Cake. it's about breaking up, but it's not about how sad and miserable you are without that person; it's about overcoming. It really helped me get over an abusive relationship.

I was at a Nine Inch Nails concert in Indianapolis recently and there was some pretty hellish moshing to "Closer" and "Terrible Lie". I imagine "Head Like a Hole" would do it to, but that was the last song they played so everyone was tired and bruised.
