I hate listening to them, talking to them (trying) and just being around them. Is that OK with you?

It's not arrogant and politically correct at all. But there's a difference between being uneducated and being dumb. Sometimes, the most educated people I have met end up being some of the most intellectually repulsive people I've ever come into contact with. And often, education bestows knowledge, but not common sense and reason. On the flip side, I've met a lot of very smart people that have not been educated as much, but who still have a lot of knowledge and experience to share.

Having said that, let's not hate the uneducated--let's hate the stupid, wherever they lurk....and maybe they'll get the point.

wow !watch it buddy! You're far too quick to fly off the handle with your prejudgments and btw they're totally inaccurate. I don't point the finger at anyone in the way your saying we do.I'm way more open minded than everyone I meet these days. Im a water sign, and Im not completely like the books say, Im up front with my feelings and Im am not critical or judgmental, I look at everyone like its a blank sheet of paper they choose how they want me to see them ultimately by how they treat me. Your putting everyone all together and to be honest everyone is different, no two people are exactly the same even if they do have the same sign.

I think it's a little harsh to 'hate' people because they are under-educated, or ignorant.
I do understand the frustration it can cause though, and you shouldn't look down upon yourself for feeling that way.
Try your best to be patient with people, and try to find a common ground. Someone who may seem dumb may have a vast amount of knowledge about something that you know absolutly nothing about.

I don't think so. This is a problem that could be remedied by picking up a book; they should try it. The only prejudice I can give myself credit for is against dumb people. I have sympathy for anyone who gets stuck in a conversation with one.

you like what you like..........Some people who are brighter dont surrond themselves with slow witted people. Hates a strong emotion and sad that you would feel that way, especially since 'dumb' people can't help it ,by definition. The group I can't stand to be around are 'ignorant' people. Ignorant of information, knowledge or unaccepting of any feedback. Seems like there are more and more ignorant people who are of average intelligence, but refuse to take any feedback on any thing they do, no matter how annoying it is

Your definition of "dumb" might not be my definition of dumb.
You sound very judgmental and egotistical for even asking this question.
