No, it is a waste of money, the cars today are timed and set up to run on 86-89 octane, if you have a high compression engine like a motorcycle, or race engine, yes use high octane, but my advice is to spend the money on using good grade fuel like shell, exxon, citco, and not the "bargain" fuel around. The additives in the name brand fuels will save you money in the long run keeping your system clean.

If the car needs 90 or more octane use premium. Pinging or detonation is harmfull to your motor. Besides the engine with the right fuel might get 2 more miles a gallon over a 14 gallon tank the price is a wash. Check your gas mileage and see.
