Yes. This kind of boycott is totally useless. You will simply buy the same gas the day before or the day after. One day's drop in purchases has absolutely no effect on the oil companies. The only thing that would really affect them is if we all started to get serious about conserving gas over the long run - like refusing to drive cars that get poor mileage, finding alternative ways to get where we need to go, etc. Then the price would drop and the world would be a better place.

Aye-aye-aye. Some people are so naive. This is going to have NO impact (especially if people like you cheat and get a gallon). Really, though, it doesn't matter if you get the gallon or not. Even if EVERYONE participated, this has NO impact on the oil companies or gas stations, because it doesn't change how much gas they sell. All that happens is that people buy their gas a day earlier or a day later. If you really want to impact gas prices, you have to STOP USING GAS. Period. If you are not willing to walk or take the bus more, then you are going to be wasting your time bothering to "boycott" by not buying gas. Snopes.com covered this subject very well. Hell Yeah it's called life, driving to work, picking up Kids, but I bet most hyprocites filled up yesturday or gonna do it tomorrow yeah big differance.

The boycott is stupid, there is no differance if I fill up today tomorrow, or when whenever, because eventually I need gas to go to work, pick up kids, ETC. it's called life, left wing nuts. Supply and demand, the Oil companies are gonna get our money eventually, so it makes no differance which day you fill. All you people saying I will fill up today or the 16th what's the differance? Most people don't need gas everyday, most fill up once a week or twice depends on your job and what's going on. If you Nuts want to make a differance than set the example, ride your bike to work, use the T-Train if you have one in your city, Put wind farms on the coast of Cape Cod where I live, to increase energy on our area and less on oil and gas but THE GREAT HYPROCITES LIKE TED KENNEDY, JOHN KERRY AND Liberal buddies don't want that, Let's stop people like Al Gore flying on private Jets. I mean we can do alot so much more and a one day gas out is stupid. The Oil companies will get you eventually it's called supply and demand.

People who choose to ignore this gas-out will be the very ones to complain when gas reaches $5.00 a gallon. Of what use is a person who won't stand up for what is right? If we stand together, we can make a difference!

purchase a eastern automobile. They on no account try this. heavily, in case you may get to the gasoline tank to bang on it, you need to even see if it "feels" comprehensive. 2d, i'd push the fill flap out of how with a screwdriver and shine a flashlight down there to purpose to be certain gasoline. you probable should not be waiting to be certain a techniques, as there is in many cases a baffle, yet you need to even see gasoline if comprehensive. i'm specific you need to candy communicate a guy into those initiatives so as which you do not get your self grimy. you may additionally attempt an entire-provider gasoline station (in the event that they exist the place you're) or a interior of sight areas place like automobile Zone to have a guy examine out it. stable success, wish you do not get stranded.

im just gonna be dumb right now and say...............yes, i mean i want a gas strike just as bad as anybody else....but im not willing to push my car where i need to go....or ask someone who has gas to take me. the point of a gas strike is to show the oil companies, who obviously dont care about americans, that we are not gas addicts and if we take a stand they can fall. we have become so dependent on oil, and a strike is just a way to say we need you but i can make it with-out you. to give in a give up is to say just how weak we are....and true americans were never weak, true people are not weak...but we live in a society that wants us to feel like theres nothing that can be done, and by going to the gas station on may 15th - may 18th.....that will show they are right and we are weak.
