If you learn to "like what you do", instead of focusing on only "doing what you like", you would begin to learn for fun, and enjoy learning.

Why do something you know isn't really true. I like to learn about many different subjects because I understand my reality better. The early mountain men, their lives and experiences, as recorded in the diaries of those who were literate. Including Kit Carson, William Cody, and Jedediah Smith. The civil war realities, the Lewis and Clark expedition as experienced by the native American tribes they encounter on their exploration, Geological formation, how various crystals were deposited, and where they will most likely be found.

You learn every day of your life. I don't think most people realize it though!
As for me personally, history and crafting are my things, and I suck up everything I can on ancient civilizations (roman, greek and egyptian primarily), as well as mythology. It never stops facinating me!
