Which do you think is more important at my age (7th grade), making boyfriends or studying?

I, personally, am the study type. I don't go to dances, or any activities that involves boys and girls...Does that mean that I'm anti-social? But it's not like I'm NOT interested in boys, you know....

I go to a girl's school...and because I don't go to those dances, I don't have even a CHANCE to meet any boys. My parents are totally against me having boyfriends anyway. "Wait until college." That's what my Mom says.

i am in a grade lower than you and i think that you should try to do a little of both, that is they best way to please everybody, including the lucky guy

well in 7 grade is when i stopped good studying habbits and now im in 9 grade and my stdy habbits are horrible, and i have a huge test today that i knew about and i totally blew it off. so i think studying is way more important, but there is nothing wrong with having a boyfriend or having just guy friends. Boys are fun to hang out with! it does sound like you are a little anti-social so maybe try going to a dance or something and see how you like it! you dont have to waist every waking minute studying! just remember to keep your priorities in order! =]

I think studying is more important, but remember to have balance in your life. I know some women who put so much effort into their intellectual development that their social development kind of suffered and in many ways social development is more important. Don't go out and be crazy and all, but just remember to get your work done but make sure you have fun with your friends and maybe a few guys too, along the way :)

Studying is always a good choice, and should stay number one on your list. The social aspect comes second. You don't need a boyfriend right now. You'll know when you're ready for that. Just go with the flow, girl. You have a long road ahead of you!

all the adults around here are just going to say that you should study. Dont get me wrong, i do think that you should study and do good in school, but i aslo think that you should be social and keep them both balanced so you have time for friends and time for school and studying. That is what i do and i have not failed yet. I usually have my friends over to help me study and a couple of times we did not get through so much, but most of the time we are serious and we do study.

i think a mixture of both is good, because boys come and go but they are great to have around, studying you will need forever. studying is definitley more inportant though. but if you wait to long to get some guys you will have trouble in the area. so just talk to guys, maybe flirt a little, and ACE THOSE TESTS!

Studying is very important but make time for friends and boyfriends also. You can never get those years back. Keep your priorities straight and you will do fine.

Studying! Boys are more trouble then there worth and you have the rest of your life to grow up and chase after boys enjoy being young and free

At 7th grade, I feel that you should give more attention towards studies! Rest will fall into place at the right time.

definitely studying. any relationship you have at your age won't be the man you spend your whole life with, so why waste time with boys that won't stick around very long.
it's important to make lots of friends though, at your age, because your friendships (boys or girls) can help you thtough the rough times of high school. Having close friends in high school can get you through alot, and make high school alot more fun!

Study well,, I want you to search here in Yahoo answers for the Question that says: what is the most regret in your life.. and look at answers,, most of them said and I'm included that WE regret not spending time in studying when we were your age, so please don't do the same mistake, when you become our age you have plenty of time to make Rational relationships.
