Does anyone know what this insect is? Found in Ponder, TX, USA.

It was very small. Definitely not a cicada.

Brown lacewing has my vote.

I think that it is a brown lacewing. They tend to get attracted to lights at night. We see them and green lacewings around here. Great insect to have as they are both predators to harmful insects such as aphids. Here's some great pictures to compare yours to.

A size would be good, it could be a flying termite (elate) or a cicada, depending on size.

If it has biting jaws (I can't tell from this photo) then it is a dobson fly. They are the adult of the helgremite larvae.
