Having a pretty face is not as difficult as it may seem. Sophia Loren once said that any woman can be beautiful. This is true for both men and and women, and it doesn't even require makeup.
Steps
1. Be better. Remember that your face is your most obvious tool of expression. It is the first thing that people usually see when they look at you. Beauty really does come from within, so if what is inside you is ugly, your face will show that. So try to become a more positive person, and as you do this, your face will show it.
2. Be nourished. Eat properly and drink enough water. The skin doesn't get most of its nourishment from what creams you put on. It comes from what is fueling your body. Eat a balanced diet in general, but perhaps take the time to consult a specialist in ayurveda. They can tailor you a diet and regime that is specific to your body chemistry and temperament.
3. Be clean. When your skin isn't properly cleaned, it looks dull and gets ashen or dark spots. Your face and the rest of you needs a reasonable scrubbing with an actual washcloth once a day, and problem areas of the face need a peeling treatment once a week after you turn 19 for men, and 22 for women. These are the ages of hormonal peaks when your body oils produce more (to signal mates in prehistoric times) and cell regeneration changes its schedule. You should also brush your teeth in the morning and after meals, and floss every night. If you don't feel like carrying around a toothbrush during the day, wipe your teeth with tissue, or with those new tooth wiper things you put on your finger.
4. Be moist. Even people with oily skin need a moisturizer. Folks with very dry skin should use a natural botanical skin cream, or as natural as possible. Those with oily skin should use an oil free or light oil moisturizer. Older people benefit greatly from creams with mild antioxidants like green tea.
5. Be friendly. People who smile more, and are approachable, appear more beautiful to others. Looking at people with contempt or anger and being snobbish or sullen makes you look bad. So try to avoid behavior that twists your expression unless it is necessary not to seem a total pushover.
6. Be free. Beauty comes in many forms. What beauty actually is in nature, is evidence of quality and basic symmetry. This is something that everyone in the world has at least a little of, which is why humanity hasn't died out even though most of us don't look like models. So relax and enjoy your life. Don't worry about the people who don't like you and don't find you beautiful. Focus on the people who do. They are the ones who are worth your time.
Tips
* Do your main bathing and self care regime in the evening, when you have the time and the mind for it...until you have children or unless you have a super stressful job. In such cases, waking up a little bit early gives you time to get started, and you're really fresh by the time you wake up the kids and/or go to work.
* Buy some of those flossing tools that don't require wrapping the string around your fingers. It's less of a headache, and often more effective.
* You don't need to spend alot, but do pay attention to the ingredients in your bath and beauty products. A body butter shouldn't have mineral oil and paraffin as the only oils in it. There should at least be some cocoa or shea butter in there.
* Use sunscreen no matter the darkness or lightness of your complexion. Those hours in the sun do add up, and might hit you severely in your forties from cumulative damage.
* Ladies, get rid of your tankshirts for summer. At least wear a shawl over it. When guys look at a woman, their eyes travel from the face down. There is little more disappointing than to see a face that looks older than it should but still relatively okay, and then to look down further and see wrinkly cleavage. Your whole frontal appearance is part of your face these days. So save the cleavage for evening.
Warnings
* Do not slouch, and do not put your head down. These are primal submissive behaviors that don't say feminine or humble. They say low status or inferior. Look at people level in their eyes, and if you have to break a stare, do it to look at someone else or an object nearby. Don't behave as if you think you are ugly.
* Never ever tell anyone that you are not pretty or that you are ugly. You don't have to praise yourself all the time, but just don't tell people that you think you are ugly, and therefore imply that they should think so too.
* One severely ugly-making habit that many people have is walking around with their mouths hanging open. When you aren't talking or smiling, your mouth should be closed. You don't have to purse your lips together too tightly. Just keep them together. Letting the mouth sag not only looks like you don't care for your appearance, but over time your facial muscles become saggy and weak from not being used.
Things You'll Need
* A positive attitude.
* A good basic skin care regime including facial wash, toner, moisturizer, and an exfoliant for occasional use.
* Good oral hygiene.
Hope it helps...

1. You have braces, believe it or not, some girls actually look cute with braces, get your friend's opinion. Ok, if don't look cute, try to refrain from showing your teeth too much(doesent apply to eating!!) Also, do not be afraid that your teeth look ugly when laughing, covering your mouth may make you look more worse!
2. Freckles. Solution to this would be spot and freckles fading cream, if your mom doesnt allow it, do not fret! The simple and cheap way would be to get a full body tan,and hey, a tan would look good on your hair.
3. What you can do for your hair is cut it short for a change, if you do not want to, you can always keep it clean, neat and shiny. That would work like a charm. Using hair conditioner and shampoo for soft hair is the way.
4. Flaunt your best assets,in a good way, remember to get your friends' opinion; Make sure that you are not trying to hard.
5. Also, have a cheery attitude, the best way!
Good luck!

Less your freckles, Lucy Liu does! Love your hair.. Love your heritage. And most important don't think ugly, think different. Some of the most beautiful and famous models divide opinion on whether they're stunning or ugly, think Lily Cole!

Confidence is gorgeous! Nobody is perfect, not even the models you see on TV. Be proud to be who you are, it's the easiest way to be and feel beautiful.

You probably don't look near as bad as you think you do. Anyway you're still a kid, and it's an awkward age. You'll probably get prettier as you get older.
