Could be a number of things, such as a bad thermostat, bad water pump. etc. Have it checked out by a mechanic.

Dont over look the coolant temp sensor, it acts as a choke on newer cars, if its not doing its job it will try to choke the car all the time, making it run hot and then not run at all when it gets too hot. This is a VERY simple cheap fix. Cost could be as little as 15-20$

It could be number of things: your radiator could have a leak, and you could be losing coolant, the thermostat could be bad, or your water pump is shot.

maybe ur fanswitch is burnt out or try using some coolent
