I have heard that you can. But I didn't believe it. Would you support this in other states if this was legal? Please let me know if you know the answer.

Actuallly, i have heard the opposite of what you're getting. I have heard it is an OLD law from back in the day, that was never taken off the books. There are a few states that have old laws that have just never removed from the states constitution. There is a website somewhere out there with these laws. Google it if yoru interested. I have never personally visited the website, but know of people that have. I wouldnt recommend killing your spouse and his/her lover if you catch them, some good prosecuting atty would find a loop hole and you'll end up in prison.

Yes it's true. But you have to give him or her an hour's head start, a canteen of water and no clothes. The kill has to be at least 100 yards from any inhabited dwelling (for safety reasons, we don't want anyone else hurt) and you get money from the state for a running shot. You have your choice of weapons, but most Texans choose a rifle for it's long range and clean kills. There are some restrictions, you have to get a special permit from the Texas Rangers and you'll need a copy of your marriage license and a photo ID of both of you before the carcass can be legally tagged. The use of pickup trucks before, during and after the hunt is not only allowed, it's encouraged. I hope this helps.

Bearess .... It is not legal to kill anyone for any reason, anywhere.

The above is one of the most ignorant statements I have read on here in a long time.

One may legaly take another human life when in fear of death or great bodily harm to ones self or another so long as it is coupled with intent and present ability.

So if I lived in Texas and I came home and someone was haveing sex with my wife and I could articulate that I belived she was actually being raped then yes I could shoot that SOB. If I walked in on the same thing but just believed that she was cheating and in a fit of rage I killed him then that would be man slaughter not murder. Murder is defined as the killing of one human by another human with malace a for thought. That is I planned to kill this person. Their are several other particulars that can make a homocide a murder but you get the drift.

Sure Frank, just like is legal to kill random people in Florida as you pass by them, and is legal in California to kill anybody except Mexicans as they could team up and take over the state… lol

Either you are a 10 year old boy, or you need to step out of the rock you are living under… you can not kill anybody for no reason at all anywhere in the US territory, period.

Killing anybody (even in self defense) will result in an etire legal process, you will go to jail no matter what, and you will have to spend all your money and more in lawyers trying to prove you are innocent or that you killed in self defense or defending your family or friends from a great danger that could have caused harm or death to them or you.

Otherwise, do not drop the soap because you will be in Jail with a big d i c k in you’re a s s.

Did I just ruin your plan to kill your wife and her lover?

No if youve watched The Shawshank Redemption with Mirgan freeman, he is sentenced to life in prison for being falsely convicted of killing his wife while she was screwing another guy. And that movie takes place in like the 30s i think so im sure that they have not made that legal especially now.

Killing of a human being, by one's own judgement, is ILLEGAL all over the world. USA is not a tribal area where such brutal laws are legal. Don't believe such rubbish.
