Its quite simple. If you need to save the web page along with its images, CSS, javascript then open the web page, click on File >> Save page as in Mozilla or Save as in IE. It will ask you the location, select the location & press OK. Your web page is saved.
But if you only want HTML code of the web page then click View >> Page Source in Mozilla & View >> Source in IE. In shortcut you can use Cntrl+U in Mozilla or even right click & choose view page source in Mozilla. Similarly in IE, just right click & choose View Source.
Copy the code & paste it in Notepad & save it with extension as .htm or .html

Open the web page, and then from the menu do a "view" and a "source". It will idsplay the HTML for you.
You can also do a "file" and a "save as" to place the page on your hard drive. However (depending on how the page is coded) any pictures may not be saved with the file.

You can either Click View > Page Source or you can click File > Save Page As... For the second option you can chose to either save the whole web page including graphics or only text. Note I'm using Firefox Internet Explorer might be slightly different.

when you ar viewing the webpage, right click and choose view source, that will give you the html code :) Also, you can right click on the web page you are on (not on pics or graphics though, empty space only) and right click and choose "save to favorites"

Another method is to use a free program called site-grabber and download the whole website so you can view it or modify it at your leisure
