You need to understand that he has moved on with his life.
I am more concerned why you want closure after 22 yrs?
what has happened for to want to contact him after this time?
You need to look at yourself first and then work a plan that does not involve anyone else bar you.

Yes you should. It will do ur heart good. Also, if he chooses to except ur apology, the feeling is overwhelming. If he doesnt at least u know that u have done ur part. Past wieghts will be lifted.

You shouldn't. He probably forgot about you so what you are doing would be for yourself. do you still want to be with him or something? Well, if you did something extremely bad I suppose you can contact him, but after 22 years, who would accept that apology.
