En Route,
Try to understand that some of the people that you have referred to are less fortunate than you are in that they have been brought up in a lower socio-economic enviroment. Although this is not a reason or excuse for them to be mean and nasty to you, it is a product of their enviroment.
Please never allow yourself to get upset enough to the point that you subject yourself to act and behave as they do. But also do not allow yourself to be bullied to the point of getting injured. Be sure to deal with the problem by keeping a record of all the incidents and reporting these to the proper authorities such as school counselors, teachers, principals etc.
Hold your head high and be proud of your accomplishments. You are on the right track in life, don't allow to yourself to be dragged down the the meek.

This is normal for high school but also for society in general. You see there is such a diversity in this world that no matter what your point of view is, no matter how you stand, what you eat, etcetera you will always make someone upset or jealous. Everyone has their own points of view which they consider correct, and that is why people always argue about things. You would think that at least on some issues where common sense tells you what to believe that everyone would be on the same page, but even in those situations there is some uneducated person who will disagree. Ultimately there is nothing you can do to prevent it.
Oh and some people are just jerks for fun. Some of them do it because they are weak under peer pressure and want to seem cool.
Just get through high school and things will get slightly better, people are a little more mature, and you usually don't have to deal with such a social/diverse/youthful atmosphere anymore.

Have you ever heard the saying "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer?" There is some truth to this. You are at the age where people often feel the need to show out. (call names) Unless they are physically wanting to hurt you, do nothing. Maybe in some of your groups you can address this issue in school and see what others feel about the same issue. I recall similar things in school. But I also know that I had the ability to hang with any "clique," just by being myself and not really caring about what others do. How about you look at the word clique, and it's definition more closely:
A clique (pronounced AmE /klɪk/, BrE /kliËk/) is an informal and restricted social group formed by people who share common interests. They are often subsets of larger social groups and are most commonly associated with teenagers, although they may exist anywhere. Teenage cliques have been relevantly addressed in both literature and cinema as movies such as Mean Girls and Odd Girl Out show. These films explore the subject, and are based on literary works by psychologists.
Cliques also exist politically, in the form of ruling cliques or a group of politicians who limit control of others through insular conduct. Political cliques are often a feature of corruption when power is not shared equally among those who are supposedly on a level footing. A complex series of military alliances between warlords in a civil war can form cliques, as did the Zhili clique in the history of the Republic of China. Similar situations also featured in the rise of Nazi Germany, and are also common in many Middle Eastern and South American nations which are not wholly democratic.

Just bear in mind that the same reasons that make you unpopular today, in 15 years from now they'll make you a succesfull professional and an integrated person in your personal life while they will be the absolute losers, begging from you you to help them with some kind of job and money. Sicilians set it right: "La vendeta è un piato da mangiar freddo" (Revenge is a dish to be eaten cold).
For the time being hold on to your dreams. When you endure you walk out in pride.

I'm often put in a similar situation and one of the most effective methods I've found is to find out which friends of yours can be present when something like this typically occurs. Individuals are less likely to hassle people when they don't think they can pull it off without about four people all at once beating them and their insults down.

Unfortunately, when you are doing well, there are those who will try to bring you down. This is an unfortunate fact of life. The best thing you can do is try to be kind to everyone you come in contact with and ignore the jerks. And try not to take it personally - unless you hear a grain of truth in what someone is saying.

You should always stand up to any bully. You may wish to speak to other students on-line through various child agencies. some of these agencies are totally confidential and they can work through this with you. You can share similar experiences and make new friends.
Always remember the

Don't go down to their level.
Just ignore them. You're clearly better than them. Just maintain a neutral but friendly front with them - they'll eventually give up I suppose, and go find something else to do.

Not in this life. There is always someone out there who dislikes you or hate you for whatever reason. Jesus was treated the same way, when He walked the earth.

no, it is extremely impossible to have no enemy at all...
what you have to do is to do nothing...got it??
i mean, just stay put., enemies are just those you consider as your enemy...if someone throw a mud on you, keep in mind that he/she was the first one who got dirt...
always remember, just let them say want they want..eventually they will be tire out..
don't oppose the water current of the river, just let it flow..don't fight life, life always wins...
seek a positive thing out of negative.
God Bless yah..
