I went on the second game at Wrigley of the year and I thought he weould sign because it was only his second game at Wrigley but he didn't. I did get Cliff Floyd, Derek Lee, Lou Pinella, Len Kasper, and I almost got Ramirez in the players parking lot after the game

Soriano and most all other major league players will sign autographs but timing is everything. It is not a good idea to ask for an autograph before a game because they have other things on their mind before game time. If you are at a game and see him signing before the game starts you might still have a problem because many others will be there as well looking for an autograph. You migh have some luck after the game but your success might hinge on how well he played that day or if his team won or lost. Remember, if you see a player signing before a game always have the object you want signed and a good pen that you can hand him. Always be very polite when asking for an autograph and be understanding if he is rushing and not able to get to you. I believe the very best way to get an autograph is to mail the object you want autographed directly to the Chicago Cubs and ask him to sign. More times than not you will get your autograph because most players set aside time for these things. Remember, always include a return envelope that has the stamps on it so all he has to do is send it back to you. Good luck and you will probably get your autograph.

Well, back to reality. It is what the first guy said. He does not sign things unless he is paid for it. I agree with him too. Why do for free if you can get paid for it!
But as far as sending to the Cubs - then what you get is an autograph by someone not Soriano. That is right - there are ghost signers! He will not get this big stack of mail and sign things. This just does not happen.

I agree with Mike M. If you send something to the Cubs, with a SASE, then you will likely receive your autograph. At least that has been my personal experience. However, I've gotten autographs in person at Wrigley too and that's just more fun - makes for a better story.

No. He is the new breed of player who makes big money signing at collectable shows, so he does not sign unless you go and pay.
