what i dont seem to understand is why when there was 3 children why was only maddie taken and not any of the twins i cant seem to understand this. My heart goes out to you maddy and who ever has got this beautiful little girl please if you read this return her to where she belongs!!!!

I think the whole thing was premeditated to be honest - this child was pin-pointed.......
My heart is breaking for this beautiful child and wonder what must go through a parents mind when leaving babies alone like this. Had they been at home in the UK this would be classed as neglect - why is it different anywhere else!
My 6 yr old would have been hysterical had she woke up and I was gone -

My personal opinion is i think her mother was a bit careless leaving a four year old child and there 2 younger children in a hotel that was just down the road i have 3 children aged 9, 14 and 17 i wouldnt even contemplate leaving them on there own in a hotel room i do however feel very sorry for madeleine's parent and the rest of her family i hope as im sure everyone else does she returns to where she right fully belongs.

I don't know if the children were sharing the same room but maybe Maddie was in the room they broke in to. The only other reason I can think of is if she was taken by paedophiles they would maybe prefer a 3 year old to a baby. I know that probably sounds dreadful but if she was taken to become someones daughter they would have wanted someone younger

It was probably too risky to take all three. It would have been too much to try and get all three of them out without them asking questions, making noise etc.
Although, the only person who can answer this question properly is the person/ people who took her! And they need to be found so the parents/ police/ the public can get these answers and get little Maddy back safe and sound!!

Possibly because she is a gorgeous looking child with those huge eyes of hers. Maybe that is what the person was after a little . Hopefully it was not to harm her, maybe a childless couple i pray that is why she was stolen. I don't think any of us can actually feel the extend of the parents pain and heartache but we can imagine what they must be going through. As you say i also hope that whoever has little Madeleine will return her and pray for her safe recovery.
To the parents and family, we wish you all the best and may your little girl be returned to you safely and unharmed.
Thinking of you every single day even though we don't know you.

Maybe the parents couldnt get a good price for the other two!
someone already said on "answers" ....watch this space there will be a shocking twist to this case and im inclined to agree. Somethings not quite right with the characters in this plot, its all beginning to look like an Agatha Christie play.

Because Madeline was the only one of the three children to wander out through the unlocked patio doors, and make her way as far as the nearby shop, which is where she was apparently picked up... at least, that's where the sniffer dogs lost her scent.
Oh, and by the way, before anyone says it, the parents could NOT see the apartment from where they were having dinner, and had left the patio doors unlocked for their convenience when checking on them every hour or so.

From what I was watching last night they were saying that there was no evidence of the apartment broken into and that Madeleine woke up and went to look for her parents to by a shop which is were the trail was lost from ...... dont think we will know for awhile with you in the wishes for her to be found safe ...xxx

Perhaps Maddie had befriended this person.
Also this person may have told Maddie that they were going to take her to her parents. She would have believed him/her
and gone probably without being afraid at first...
Or perhaps it was Maddie who woke up and they just took the first one. We may never know...

good question,but i think Maddy probably woke up looking for her parents because i have a 4yrs old daughter and she still gets up in the night to sleep with me.i hope they find her soon!xx
