Baby food from a jar can be served at room temperature. Some people choose to warm it, but it's not necessary, and could prove to be a challenge if you're out and about.
Baby cereal, on the other hand, can be warmed or mixed with warm water. I do know of more than a couple babies who prefer it cold.
Also, try to avoid the baby jar "desserts" if you can. They are full of unnecessary sugars and have little nutritional value.
Best wishes!

I've tried to make sure my little guy can handle a variety of temperatures - from warmed up to straight out of the fridge. You never know when you will be in a crunch and need to feed with no way to prepare the food in a way they will only take. He also will take my expressed breastmilk straight out of the fridge. Kind of like us enjoying a frosty cold glass of milk. He does just fine, and eats just as much as if it were warmed, plus it saves time. And no, it will not give him a bellyache. Besides, when he is older, he will be exposed to a variety of temps, after all, we all don't eat every bit of our food warmed. I'm hoping it will lead to a less picky child later on.... :)

Just to take the chill off, you will find baby will spit it right back and screw it's face up if you shock it with cold food.

no, it does not have too. it is preferable that you do heat it, babies tend to have a better liking to if you do that. dont heat it up too long, and make sure you feel it to make sure its not too hot!

it doesn't HAVE to be... but if you try to get a baby to eat cold food after having drank warm formula since birth... well, it might not cooperate so easily!

No. If you start heating it up, then the baby will get used to it and always want it heated up.
Room temp is best for my boy. :)

It should be precooked and sterile in the can but making it warm is more pleasant for the baby.
