my boyfriends birthday is coming up and i have no clue what to gwt him.last year i bought him a tool box...i have no idea..He is authentic italian and his taste is diffrent than im use too...please help..no cheesy ideas please..Thanks

I gave my fiance a money clip one year that I had engraved with a personal message and the date. He carries it every day and says he always thinks of me when he uses it. One time he thought he lost it and he was very upset. Anyways, that was a gift idea that worked out very well for me.
Handmade gifts are also very thoughtful. Maybe you could make him a fleece blanket in his favorite color or with something on it he enjoys? Then you could snuggle up and watch a movie under it together sometime!

How about a lovely SAILORS-CROSS, Italians are religious, usually Catholic, and Italian men love gold jewelry!!! The cross is inter-twined with an anchor which represents the sea and many Italians are sailors or fishermen (I cant remember, but there's one more symble on it). In 14k gold you could get one for about $100 , $125 or $140USD !!! It's something he'll treasure forever!!! I got my hubby one 25 years ago and he loves it!!! It is very SEXY on his gorgeous chest !!! I couldnt afford a gold chain, but I found a SS 21" chain plated in 14k gold made by a good company (I got chain at Penneys) and it was guaranteed to NEVER "peel" and it hasn't !!! I never told him the chain wasnt solid gold til yrs later & he said, so what, it looks good and you saved the money for more important things!!! The sailors-cross is real 14k gold tho and I just saw one at Wal-Mart last week !!! Also try K-Mart or Penney or Burdines or a local Jeweler!!!
If that is too expensive for you, then try a ring! A SS ring with a combination of stones and signets of something he's interseted in would be cool. I bought a nice Navy ring for brother and a nice USA ring for a friend who just became an American it was $65! I think Wal-Mart will let you pay pymts. What about a nice jewelry box for his watches and future jewelry?
