Yes, you will still be able to smoke in smoking rooms in hotels. copied from link - Designated rooms in hotels, hostels and bed and breakfast accommodation are exempt since they are places where people live even though they are not private homes. Where smoking cannot take place outside for safety or health reasons, then designated smoking rooms/areas may be allowed. Such exempted places will include prisons for example.

Hotel rooms are not considered public places so yes a hotel can still allow smoking if they wish. Really depends on the hotel.

Smoking bans are local laws. A smoking ban adopted by California might be written differently that one in Nevada. It really depends on how the law is written.

however, a lot of hotels still offer smoking rooms - so i would suggest its ok in a smoking room but not in the public areas

No smoking in any public place, which includes all Hotels, Motels, B & Bs Hostels and anywhere else you wanna Sleep.
I'm affraid its outside in the rain for you.

Of course not.
2 man business both smoke you have 1 works vehicle you can't smoke in it.
As a none smoker I think this is even a little steep

No a smoking ban in PUBLIC places, ---- a HOTEL is a PUBLIC place !!!!!

I would imagine not as the room your are using will still be regarded as a workplace for the maids, butlers and cleaners etc.

Nope - you'll have to run outside and shelter from the wind and rain if you want one in the middle of the night...... what a pain in the a*se
