Since you have left Vegas you can call the hotel and order one to be sent to you.
If you had taken the one from the room you would have been charged new price on a "used robe" So just give them a call and order a new one.
Hope this helps you.

in this day and age, stealing from a hotel is really hard to do.
in my mind the answer is No, taking the robe without asking is not stealing BECAUSE the casino will charge your credit card for the cost of the robe.
whatever is in your hotel room you are intitled to take, however, keep in mind what you are taking. The hotel will not re-use the mini bar of soaps [if left alone and untampered with they will] but a robe is something that can be re-used and because of that they will charge you for it.
if ever you have questions like that, call the front desk and they'll beable to tell you what you can take and how much the hotel will charge you for it.

Hi There! A lot of hotels offer the robe as a courtesy, you are more than welcome to take it or use it, however taking the robe usually runs between 75.00-160.00 depending on where you take it from. They will charge your card, as well as for missing towels, and other items. If you loved the robe I would suggest calling the hotel and having them send you a new one. I can tell you that Saks, and Neiman Marcus sell robes for around the same price the hotel would be selling you one for and you could probably get it embroidered with your monogram. I would go to an upscale store and shop around, you can probably get a better deal somewhere else.

Two choices really for next time.
1. Buy one, but make sure you get a new one.
2. When you are checking out, keep an eye out for other rooms with doors propped open ready for turnaround, take one from that room and you won't be charged!!
(Please note I do not advocate stealing, someone told me this was what they did....)

Legally no.
The worst they will do is charge your credit card though. And from what I have heard they dont always do that either.
