Yes. This is especially true when you go to the 'Education' section or the 'Science and Mathematics' section. Some copycats there don't know the answers but want to earn points or look smart. It's also very obvious and rather funny when you see a copycat who copies someone's maths answer and tries to show the working his own way and it doesn't make a lick of sense.
There's another very obvious example of copycats. I'll give you an example from personal experience. There was someone who posted a trivia question which contained 10 rather tough questions. I was observing for fun and I noticed that the first few people who came in genuinely gave only a few answers they knew and later down, you see someone who comes in with complete answers for the 10 questions. After this person, everyone else has the same perfect 10 answers as well.
I guess you just get all kinds of people here.

I agree a hundred% with Venkman! i've got had some, imho, surprising solutions only to bypass returned and study the solutions when I submitted mine and notice my answer. Then it appears that evidently like I copied! i'm doing that on the positioning icanhascheezeburger too. Very annoying. "Sane human beings for the progression of undemanding sense" HA! HA! we can't have undemanding sense and good judgment! that is going to easily confuse human beings!

Actually I hate it when you take the time to answer it, go through the spell check and the preview, hit submit and find out the asker has removed the question!!! Talk about a waste of time!! It should do that BEFORE all the writing!! Good question though!!!

what irritates me is when you write up an answer that fits the question perfectly, and then the person who asked the question goes and does one of two things: either puts it to a vote, OR (the more irritating one of the two) goes and picks someone else for best answer, and the other "best answer" isn't even remotely connected to the question

lol yea this happens to me all the time but i dont worry because most people know this situation happens, unfortunatly some people can just type faster than others. oh well xx
