I want to make a WAP site on my own domain (such as www.mydomain.com/mobile). What is the best software program to use?
I don’t want to use the free WAP site building packages as many of those only allow you to host the site on their domain.

Your really looking to build a mobile compatible page. WAP as a technology is not longer in vogue. WAP was hyped at the time of its introduction, leading users to expect WAP to have the performance of the Web. It really hasn't taken off outside of Korea
For mobile development Focus on developing Light xHTML + CSS based pages and applications, Most mobile devices that support mobile browsing can understand simplified Xhtml .

No idea = I thought WAP was dead (or at least so expensive that no one with a mobile ever used it)
