I have been prescribed with Nordette, and am supposed to take it on the 5th day of my next cycle. I would like to know the side effects of this pill before I take it. If you are/have been using Nordette please share your experience with it here. It would greatly help me. Thank you!

I was on this for a while and I put on weight and became so psycho-moody at PMT time.
BUT - I was almost as bad on Yasmin which is meant to reduce weight gain. The only thing that isn't so bad for me is the NuvaRing.
Good luck - you may have no side effects whatsoever.

A couple of the most common side effects can be weight gain (which is mostly water) and spotting. Some women can have problems with mood swings while being on the pill.
I've never done Nordette itself but because of having been on the pill (having had to change brands at times because of the way I take mine) I have run in to a couple of the symptoms I mentioned above.
