Why use Outlook Notes?

Why do people use these rather than Tasks?

What personal reason do you choose one rather than the other?

I use notes to keep simple notes, ie, passwords and quick points, and sync with my cell, the passwords are coded so even in wronghands they are useless, but its good as a reminder.
