I met a Ron Jeremy at a titty bar. He was cool although I wouldn't shake his hand (didn't know where it had been).

I met WWF referee Teddy Long at a Raw show in Ottawa. I was totally bugging him while he was laying low side stage, but he was nice and shook my hand.
I also met Ottawa Senators Antoine Vermette, Chris Kelly, Chris Phillips and Bryan McGrattan at a promo event. They were all nice, signing autographs and saying hi. But Kelly and Vermette were awesome. I mentioned that my girfriend was in Africa and they asked questions about how she liked it. While they were busy at an autograph signing. Class acts, for sure.
I met former NHL star Dennis Hull at a signing in Ottawa. I told him my dad was a Hawks fan growing up in Montreal. He laughed and signed a poster, addressed to my dad.
I also had former Sen Pat Falloon sign my hat once. I don't remember much about that.

I used to be a food manager at a fine arts location. Part of the job involved working with the artists ahead of time to provide food and drinks (and specific colored M&M's) for the artists and their crew. It provided an opportunity to see people outside of their stage persona. To this day, the late Gregory Hines was my favourite. He was personable, gracious, and all around just someone who immediately made you feel good. The biggest ****** was Mary from Peter Paul and Mary. She was overbearing, obnoxious, and extremely demanding (she had to have diet Dr. Pepper no matter how hard it was for us to locate and this was a time when regular Dr. Pepper was not popular). One of the more interesting was Mikhail Baryshnikov. He was very quiet and extremely tiny. His manager and I had some hard words back and forth because he accused me of not stocking the dancer's rooms with beer. When I pointed out all the beer caps that were littered all over the floors of the rooms, he just stammered. I also met Michael Hutchence (sp?) from INXS and his model girlfriend. I was a waiter at an Italian restaurant and he came in one day when his plane had a layover. We were relatively empty. A female server came up to me and said I think that's the guy from INXS. She was just star struck. Being the genius I was I was ridiculing her. I said 'Yeah right, like the lead singer from INXS decided that he couldn't find any good italian food so he left Australia, skipped over Italy, went to the U.S. and then happened upon our empty restaurant.' When she came back and said 'he said he is the lead singer of INXS' I kept going '.....yeah, okay. brilliant. That's all it takes huh. Well my name is Jon Bon Jovi, would you like my autograph. When he paid his bill with a credit card, I took it over to the bar area to cash it out and said to everyone 'look. I like INXS, but if this guy was the lead singer of INXS then the name on this card would read Michael Hutchence and the name on the card is - (I pull the card out to read the name) - Michael...holy sht. He signed some autographs. was gracious. a limo picked him up at the front door and later that year he killed himself.
