Maybe because you still think of the interracial thing as taboo, or you might feel guilty about dating outside your race?? I am a black girl and I've dated several white guys, and now I'm married to a white guy. I used to feel weird about it, too, because I thought that people would think I was saying that I'm too good for black guys. But I got over that. Attraction is attraction and there aren't any rules guiding it. Go with your gut and the next time a white guy checks you out, give him a smile and let fate handle the rest. Good luck!

It's not a blk/white thang mami, just human nature. You've got to get over this hump and mature to a point where you can take compliments like a woman, and not a girl. I don't know how old u r, but that's ur answer. Peace.

get out more girl so that u stop seeing people first as black/white/green/yellow. the fact that u feel u like white guys means ur looking at their color first the at them as men. u dont say whether u chicken out when black guys say hi so that we would know what u thinking when a white guy greets u.

Might be shy because of everyone in society being a bunch of haters...
im a white guy.... I can't speak for everyone but it would be awesome to be with someone of another race... ;)

White people are human just like you are. There is no reason to be embarrased. Just talk to them, and be friendly just like you would any other time. We are all looking for the same thing--happiness.

maybe youre just not used to the attention and arent comfortable yet to start a conversation with someone of the opposite sex, just be confident and relax and try to focus on the fact that they are as nervous as you are and just go with the flo.....

whats color got to do with it? dont be afraid of white ppl we dont bite...well some of us do...but if they are checking you out then they were interested too. regardless of color, we are all human.
