I don't think people should do testing to see if their unborn children have disabilities. It's not a 100% accurate test and even if it were....what are we saying to those that live with disabilities by killing babies that are less than perfect? We're saying that their life isn't even worth living and society considers them an unnecessary burden.

this isn't any longer ok. That toddler already has a life. regardless of what you think of that youngster can nevertheless have a competent life. in basic terms via fact I scraped my knee 1000 cases as a toddler would not propose i could somewhat die than flow by way of the concern. I actual have a stressful time with college. that would not propose i visit kill myself. I actual have a cousin who's mentally handicapped yet i think of he nevertheless enjoys his life. He watches video clips does puzzles talks to others. you does no longer kill a 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old with a actual illness, so what's the version with a toddler in the womb? no longer something! think of regarding the particular olympics too. a lot of people relish them and so do the people engaging in them! it is not someone's option to take a life. this is God's. via ways each word this is referred to as professional-option to sugar coat the certainty which you're killing a toddler.

I'm not really for abortions, but I would have to say yes I would at least consider it. I don't feel like I'm the kinda person that could care for someone in that condition I'm sorry to say. (just being honest)

I personally would abort. I don't think I'd be prepared to look after a child with such serious needs. If I knew I couldn't look after him/her then why make the child suffer more if I couldn't care for them correctly?

It's just something I wouldn't and couldn't prepare myself for. Some people can, and hats off to them.

No.

I have a daughter who has physical and mental disabilities and she is absolutely my angel, I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.

Anyone who has a disabled or special needs child would probably agree with me. They are the most precious gifts anyone could be given, it is hard to watch them struggle but the people they grow up to be are remarkable.

It depends on what the defects are. When I was pregnant with my daughter, a laboratory error indicated a high chance of Down's Syndrome. We decided to take what we were given. My daughter was born perfect.
However, I know two women whose babies were severly deformed and both decided to terminate, as their babies weren't viable. It was dreadful, both women were hysterical with sorrow. They could feel the babies kicking in their tummy and knew they were going to terminate.
And when the procedures were over, yes, both babies would have died anyway.
I'm sorry, but you just don't know what you would do.

Personally no, but it's a very individual thing. I can understand how some people may feel unable to cope with the prospect of a disabled child.
