why do people treat me like s*** even though i always go out of my way to be nice to everyone sometimes i wish i can be a b**** but i dont feel good when i am nasty to people i wanna be nice but i also wanna be someone no one steps on

It's a cold, harsh FACT that people take advantage of people who are too kind...They walk all over these poor folks. Thing is--I used to be one of these people too!! I've changed tho..I'm more assertive now, and I MAKE people respect me & my boundaries...That's what you need to do. You don't need to be mean, or b!tchy, just be firm and set boundaries, start using the word NO--and meaning it..You'll find that once you start doing these things, people will respect you more, and will be less likely to take your kindness for weakness!! Firstly: DG u hav problems...
ok right don't give up being nice because if people always treat you badly then you probably shouldn't hang around with them. If someone asks you to do something and you know they'll just take you for granted don't help them straight off have think about it and if you decide they should ask someone else just say no if you tell everyone else yes then theres no time left for you!

i know the feeling, i do the same thing with people. always nice but get treated like crap in the end. i think some people play upon other's kindness. why, i don't know. wish i could help you, cause i'm still trying to figure it out myself.
