Pretty sure that Retics hold the record for verified length at over 30 feet. There are always the unverified eye witness accounts and shed skins which are unreliable. The green anaconda is much thicker bodied however so factoring in weight and length it is often cited as the largest snake.

No I know reticulated pythons get very big, but I think (not positive) that anacondas are the biggest. Pythons usually get 20-24 ft long but not sure about anacondas Just read this before.

The Reticulated Python is the longest of snakes and the Anaconda is the heavyest of the snakes....Followed by the Burmese and African and Indian rock pythons....All are huge constictors....I have all of them and the Burmese is the best as temperment goes.....

well, the reticulated python now holds the world record for being the longest snake in the world. the former longest was the anaconda who is the worlds bulkiest snake. i hope this answers your question!!!

the biggest one founsd was 49 feet and weighted 993lbs.
that out records the andaconda in weihght and length
