My computer restarted automatically thanks to bloody Windows Updates-- is there anywhere I can look for the unsaved documents that I was working on??

Yes just open your words application after restarted. It will ask if you want to continue your work, just continue and then save your file.

U acnt look for unsaved files again if once u have restarted the computer
