Aaaah, my favourite (or one of the top in my list) Gaboon viper, found in the rainforests and savannas of Sub-Saharan Africa.
We used to have to be careful hiking around KawZulu Natal in SA, it loves living in the mountains and when you put your hand down onto a rock to climb out is the last place you'd want to be bit.
There's one good thing, with such humungous fangs, if your hand lifts up, the fangs go straight through, with any luck it won't inject all the venom!

The Gaboon Viper is from Africa......This snake has the longest fangs of any snake.....Averages 5' in length and is strikingly beautiful......

like everyone said they are from africa, i like the gaboons they hook pretty easy, well atleast mine do.
