B&Q do ultrasonic alarms which I am using myself at present. They are not going to put an apsolute stop to your mouse problem but they will act as a deterrant. Alongside this, simply don't leave food out uncovered and wipe your worktops with an antibacterial disinfectant before and after preparing food. If the mouse is hungry enough and no other food is available then ultimately they will go into the trap for food. WILKINSONS sell a very powerful mousetrap: I have killed 27 in this fashion over a 6 month period when I first moved in. You need to be patient and rebait and reposition traps periodically. Also use disposable gloves for handling and burn or bury the bodies. Happy Hunting!!! xxx

I know you have had many suggestions on how to get rid of the mice.
Please do not use the poison bate, when eaten the mice or rats run off to other areas and can be caught by some one else's pet (cat or dog). Then that animal dies. This happened to my pet.
Please consider a cat or the various mouse traps.

Ok. I live the country. I frequently get mice in my house. Get a fatty piece of bacon and put a little bit on the trap. It always works at my house. If you try it, let us know if it worked! Good luck!

You can get pest plug in things now that get rid of mice, spiders and all sorts of bugs, they cant stand the noise so they go elsewhere, more than likely to the house next door, but they are supposed to be good.

in case you have not used it for extra beneficial than a 12 months, do away with it! in case you have products which you think of are valuable, attempt counting on eBay for products resembling yours - this help you estimate how lots the article must be properly worth. Or, in case you have the time, have a storage sale. in case you have not have been given time for a storage sale, donate/supply away or throw away the products. they don't look to be doing you any stable by applying cluttering up your existence. in case you have a not elementary time parting with issues - attempt filling and eliminating one field at a time. this could help initiate eliminating the flaws which you fairly choose the least. As you declutter, you will locate which you do not omit those issues and the decluttering will grow to be lots extra handy!

I feel for you. They are uber gross, scuttling around like that. They are nothing more than hairy worms......Whatever you do don't leave any food about (especially at night). We tried the trap thing and the crafty bugger hot-footed off with the choc that we left. My husband finally caught it at about 2am and we haven't seen another one since. I think it was a loner (or the rest of its clan realised they can't be trespassing in our house cos they'll get disposed of accordingly!!!!)

Get yourself a cat, it worked for Dick Whittington - I have 2 cats and mice won't come anywhere near my house anymore, well apart from the remains of the odd one on the lawn, and please don't use humane mousetraps unless you check them regularly, i've heard so many stories of poor wee mice starving to death in them because they've been forgotten about

I think the best way is to get a cat if you like cats. They are excellent at catching mice.
