i always love reading books of them and i alway watch they show .and wen i look at a pic of them togethre i dont know who is who
i am a big fan of them but i can`t even tell them apart

First of all, the answers you have gotten so far are incorrect...believe it or not, I worked for the OB/GYN that delivered the girls many years ago here in California....they were not considered identical twins, but looked so much alike with the exception that Mary Kate had a freckle under her nose above her lip on the right side... and their Mom, Jarnie told us that often she had to look for it to distinguish who was who....now, however, you can tell them apart by many things...Ashley has shorter hair, weighs more, and is fuller in the face than MK.....she also dresses a lot different than MK, preferring more sophisticated clothes to MK's layered and bohemian style of clothing....

Just from observing them, it seems like Ashley is a little prettier than Mary Kate. Ashley looks more healthy, while Mary Kat gets too skeletel thin. Also, Ashley seems to have a more genuine looking smile. Have you ever noticed Mary Kate's smile? It's this weird lip pursing thing.
